Whether you call them "short video," or "long photos," these are quick (10 seconds, more or less) snippets of video that are a snap to watch.
Why 10 seconds? I stumbled across this meme courtesy of Matt Web's collection of 11 second video clips, by way of Blackbeltjones, and had to agree that a clip about 10 or 15 seconds long was about the right length for people to just casually watch. Maybe the fast cuts in TV shows have programmed this response into us (who knows?), but check the clips out and let me know what you think.

Anyone who doubts that the economy is currently suffering need only look to retail buildings in the U.S. A few days after I got my DSLR, I practiced with it by taking pictures inside a couple of nearly dead shopping malls; one or two stores are open, while the rest are essentially abandoned.
